Each week our trainers will pick their Learner of the Week. We would like to say a massive thank you to all of the apprentices that put in hard work during work and on training.
Week Commencing 07/01/2019
BAILEY STORRAR FROM SERCO
Always early! Worked well, contributed frequently and was often the last to leave!
JOSHUA BELL FROM CEDREC INFORMATION SYSTEMS
I have thoroughly enjoyed having Josh on course this week. He is an excellent learner with very in depth knowledge on the course subject and has shown this all week with an extremely high standard of work all week.
JACEK LIPINSKI FROM AVIVAJacek was a standout performer this week, he was active on the mic, produced outstanding work and showed his knowledge every day. Jacek was a consistent contributor in the chat and was not shy to come on the mic. He is an absolute credit to his company and was a pleasure to deliver to each and every day. Jacek supported others in the group on a regular basis and his kind nature shined through. There was a high calibre of learners this week, but for me Jacek stood out and he is my learner of the week.
ALLY BOLDAN FROM MANTRA MEDIA
Ally was excellent and worked extremely hard all week. She was the only learner to take the time to master all of the questions on Ucertify! Very impressed!
RYAN EDWARDS FROM RED PLANERyan produced outstanding work and his attitude was excellent. He is the learner of the week.
JAKUB ZOCHOWSKI FROM ROCKET X
Jakub is this weeks learner of the week due to his unfailing ability to grasp the subject and even with the PHP scripting he didn't flap but
worked his way through it all. He was conscious throughout the course and never took the easy route, always going above and beyond the call of duty.
HANNAH MACKAY FROM SERCO
Hannah was excellent this week always there for a change of tact or a learner response. Contributions were excellent and peers picked up on this too. A great effort and well done in this Data Analyst course.
ELLIOT RAVENSDALE-BISHOP FROM EPX SOLUTIONS
Elliot worked hard this week to improved his knowledge, produce some good work and gained good mock results.
ANDREW NELSON FROM MABO MEDIA
Andrew was the most responsive and keenly involved member of my group. He was enthusiastic and offered some great examples that indicated his understanding of how topics applied to his work. Another good aspect about Andrew's interaction was the fact he confirmed his lack of understanding just as much as his understanding.
Week Commencing 21/01/2019
ROBERT ACKERLY FROM RK WHOLESALE LTD
Robert is my Apprentice of the Week this week and for a very good reason. Rob was fantastic at the labs and getting his work done, always contributed to the group and even presented to the group a few times on different topics, to top this off he did awesome in his mock tests, I have full confidence Rob will ace his exam!
ZARA NILE FROM CAPITA PLC
Zara was confident and participated enthusiastically. Provided some good examples from her work which confirmed her knowledge and understanding.
JACK BRACEY FROM HUMBOLDT SOLUTIONS
Jack was outstanding. He worked hard and completed all assignments in time. He did well in all mocks from skilsure. Well done.
BRADLEY WILKINSON FROM VWS SOFTWARE
Although Bradley struggled a little this week to understand some of the concepts of Mobility and Devices, he put his all in to the course. He asked relevant questions and tried to answer any of the questions I asked and was able to achieve good mock scores.
TAYLOR BRAMHALD FROM THORNHILL PRIMARY SCHOOL
Taylor worked very well. Although at times he found the work challenging to understand Taylor worked very hard, constantly asking for feedback and produced some very good work.
SARAH HAROON FROM RED PLANE LTD
Sarah is my learner of the week as he has been fabulous in helping me find out something in the code that I couldn't find! She was always the first one in and is the only girl in her place of work, coupled with the fact she is the only Muslim as well. We had a good discussion on why women were so under represented in computing and she is a shining star to work with. She was good on the mic and could hold a conversation easily. Her workbook was above average and had little to amend it and she was an active member of the group.
JOSEPH THOMPSETT FROM AVIVA
An excellent start, middle and end to the week for Joe and really have appreciated and couldnt fault all his verbal and chat contributions from his work with AVIVA as it was relevant to the topics covered. Answered directly and succinctly when questioned and he really did help to move the communication on for the group as a whole. Excellent mock score too and for all of this, he is my AOTW (Apprentice of the Week)
MUHAMMED QASIM KHAN FROM BANK OF ENGLAND
Qasim had a very good week, he was active throughout the week and produced some excellent work. He worked hard and this was evident in his abilty throughout the week to answer questions correctly as well as score fantastically well in his mock exams.
